You know I love these stories when I stop what I’m doing, make a cup of tea and sit down for an enjoyable read.

Titled, The Best Christmas Ever, it was nice to get immersed in the family from Grand Banks and how a town came together to save Christmas dinner.

It is Christmas Eve and Windflower has to travel to Marystown to deliver and pick up some gifts. The inevitable storm arrives on Christmas Day and a loss of power means cooking is put on hold, even dinner at a senior home. But the town comes together and uses their resources to hold a dinner regardless of the situation.

The tea I chose was one from a tea subscription I received for Christmas from the grandkids. I’m looking forward to the next three months to see what teas I receive in the mail.

This was the gift I received from myteabox.ca and has 3 packages of tea, a description of each on a card, and a heart shaped tea strainer.

The tea I chose to have while reading The Best Christmas Ever is called Snug, a green tea blend of various fruits and flowers. I had it in one of my favourite mugs that we got in Victoria, BC three years ago when we were there for Christmas.

This wonderful set of measuring spoons was sent to me by our daughter in BC and they are perfect for measuring out tea. My family knows me so well!

Your spoons you got for Christmas are beautiful.
I always liked Ann Purser’s books. I have read several. I will be glad when the library opens again and can get some of my favorite authors.

I know what you mean about different rules for some people. Heard today Trump is having 500 guests for a New Years Eve party. Then we will hear how many have come down with the virus.

    Have a good 2021.
    Be safe
