November and another br-r-r (ber) month is starting and it is time for some extra warmth when going out.
The one row scarf pattern is what I call a no-brainer pattern. It is just as the name suggests and only has one row to remember and knit.
You need 26 stitches in groups of 4, but you could make it as wide as you want as long as it is multiples of 4 plus 2 stitches.
The pattern is *k2, kb1, p1* repeat to end of row, k2. Not even a pattern to print out.
Looking back at some I’ve knitted it seems a variegated yarn was chosen for each one. I just kept knitting till the yarn was used up, saving some for a fringe if wanted. But the length is up to you.
These ones have all been gifted so perhaps it is time to make another for myself.
Are you ready for the b-r-r-r months?

I like the patter with variegated yarn Linda.
Crafty Gardener
I love simple patterns Myrt, especially ones that look good when finished. The variegated yarn makes it looks even nicer. We had quite a frost this morning, but it is lovely and sunny now.
