The Lost Souls Shawl was made awhile ago but as it was a gift for someone. Now it has been delivered I can finally share it with you.
If you look carefully you can see skulls throughout this shawl. This is a pattern I came across on Ravelry, and the best part was it was free. Below is a closer look at the skulls.
This was made for a Hallowe’en lover and I’m sure she will enjoy it.
I had to try it out with one of the shawl pins a purchased while on the spring South Eastern Ontario yarn crawl.
I used Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn and a 5 mm crochet hook. It took me awhile to sort out the pattern, especially the repeat parts, but once I had mastered that it was a nice pattern to work with.
It is lovely and long at the back and will be perfect to wear on cold nights while reading or watching tv.
