I haven’t been doing a lot of crochet or knitting so far this summer. But it is time to get back to it. I have been searching through all the patterns I have saved on the computer, in my Ravelry library, and printed out. WOW, so many to choose from.
This is a picture of a project that I made awhile ago, and seeing as I can’t find it in my collection of scarves and shawls I am assuming I gave it away. Or did I unravel it and knit it into some socks!!!! That is quite possible in those cold lockdown days when I couldn’t get out to buy yarn.
You can find the pattern on Ravelry.
It takes about 366 metres and is knit on a 4 mm circular needles with one skein of fingering/sock yarn. There are so many gorgeous sock yarns out there to buy, it is wonderful to have other patterns to knit with it.
I love the patterned edge. It is knitted from the smallest end with a cast on of 19 stitches with gradual increases in the following rows to form the triangular shape.
This isn’t a full size shawl but is called a shawlette or scarf, which ever you prefer. No matter what you call it, it sure is cozy and warm on those colder days.

I can imagine you are busy outdoors! I’ve been pruning trees.

Outside when weather permits, we sure have had lots of rain on and off this summer.

Very nice, Linda!
While I’m loving the longer summer days, I’m also looking forward to the cozy fall scarf/shawl-wearing season!

Those cooler days will be here before we know it Myrt. I’m enjoying this weather so far, except for the extreme humidity of some days.

It’s beautiful! I love the colours. I know I should but I’m not quite ready to start thinking of Christmas gifts just yet. xx

Maybe I’ve been thinking about Christmas gifts as we have been watching some Christmas in July movies. 🙂
