Crafts: Spoon Mandalas

posted in: Crafty's Projects | 2

I have had these 4 old wooden spoons since I swapped them out for new ones a few months ago. At first I was going to turn them into plant markers, but with all good intentions the idea got started and then put away as something else came along.

A crafting friend shared how to decorate wooden spoons with mandalas. Light bulb moment …. I can do that with my old wooden spoons.

They are the same but they are different – same colour scheme but mandalas differ slightly. I also finished painting the handles of the spoons.

Look carefully to find them as they blend in with the hosta.

Awhile ago I also dabbled in some mandala rocks.

    Linda,
What a neat idea with the spoons. They are pretty.
Very hot here. Got to 93 yesterday and today is 85. I always think of people who have to work out in the heat or people who do not have homes sleeping in tents on the sidewalks. I have nothing to complain about.
    Have a good weekend.
