Last Fall I potted up tulip bulbs and sank some of the pots into the ground and kept some in the garage over the winter. This proved to be a great success and I’m now able to move the pots around and have blooms where I never had them before.
Here are some of the pots showing the new growth about the second week in April.
Lots of lovely spring colour right on the deck and visible through the kitchen window and door.
Another pot of double tulips is right beside the front door.
I’ll certainly be adding to the potted tulips and I’ll be able to do the work in the Fall at the newly located garden bench. Here are more photos of tulips from previous years.
