All Things Spidy

Our oldest grandson loves Spiderman so over the past few months I’ve been making him some Spiderman items.  So naturally for Hallowe’en he was dressed in a Spiderman costume.

First I made a crochet afghan for his birthday in June.  This is a lovely round ripple crochet pattern.

With cold weather coming I made a crochet hat with some of the leftover yarn.

I found a nice pattern at A Dog in a Sweater blog.  I just changed up the colours to suit our five and a half year old grandson.

Next I got out the knitting needles and used more of the left over yarn to knit a pair of mittens.  On one side of the mittens I stitched a spider web.  He wore them with his costume on Hallowe’en night.  The pattern is a simple 2 needle pattern from Bev’s Country Cottage.
