While enjoying a lovely walk down by the bay last Sunday we came across a huge bed of lavender. I was a bit surprised that it was all still blooming and what a wonderful scent it had. I knew I had to take lots and lots of photos to use for Mosaic Monday, as Judith, the organizer, just loves lavender.
The scent was amazing as you walked the length of the beds.
There was a wonderful view of the Bay Bridge spanning from the Belleville side to Prince Edward County.
Part way long the trail was a lovely garden with benches to look out over the bay and a shady pergola to sit under.
The lavender was still in bloom, while mine at home finished awhile ago. I was late trimming mine down so I don’t think I’ll get a second flush of blowers.
Just the slightest brush against the lavender filled the air with the wonderful scent.
I’ve found various sites online that create fantastic mosaics or collages and I’m having fun creating with them.
