This is a delicious fruit mousse recipe is quick and simple to make. I made two different varieties, one with peaches and one with pears.
Ingredients:
- large can of fruit, peaches or pears, save just under half of the juice
- 1/2 c condensed milk
- 2 tsp gelatin
Take out 2 or 3 pieces of fruit, chop and put to one side.
Add remainder of canned fruit to blender and blend till smooth. Add condensed milk, blend. Pour into pan, add gelatin and boil for a couple of minutes. Stir constantly until it starts to thicken. If it gets too thick you can add a bit of the saved juice.
Pour into a 7 inch baking dish and cool in fridge for about 10 minutes. Add chopped fruit. Mix gently. Return to refrigerator until set. Cut and serve.
Delicious and refreshing. If there is any of the fruit juice left over it makes a lovely drink.

Trick: Here is a little trick to remember how to not get desert and dessert mixed up. Desert only has one s because you only want to be stranded in the desert once, but dessert has 2 s’s because you always want double the dessert!
