We live quite close to the National Air Force Museum which is located at CFB Trenton.
Over the summer we took the grandkids there for a visit.
The displays are wonderful. Airplanes from long ago. Display depict how the Canadian aviation grew and evolved to the present day.
A World War II Halifax bomber was completely restored and is now on permanent display. Other significant planes in Canadian history are under currently restoration.
There are many planes on display outside.
The RCAF Memorial Park has more than 20 static aircraft on display. More than 10,000 memorial stones are placed along the walkway to honour Canadian Air Force members past and present.
If you are in our area this is certainly a museum worth visiting.
It’s time to share where we live with Our World Tuesday
Out and About shares more places to visit.
