On our visits to British Columbia one of the things we love to do is take a ride on the harbour ferries or taxis.
This is the best way to see the harbour and all the surrounding sights.
You know you are waiting in the right place when you see the ferry sign.
The captain stands in the middle of the ferry and takes you from stop to stop. All the ones we had were friendly, gave a bit of a commentary on the area when he knew we were tourists, and made the journey fun and interesting.
Lots of fantastic scenery surrounds the harbour.
At Victoria Daily Photo they show a video of harbour ferry Sunday morning dance that they recorded. You can see more information about the harbour ferries at their site.
Riding on one ferry gave me the opportunity to take photos of other ferries.
The best part of last years trip was taking the grandkids on their first ferry ride.
Another fun sign we saw at the end of the dock was this one.
It’s time to share where we live with Our World Tuesday, Signs, Signs.
I’m also sharing with ABC Wednesday where the letter of the week is F. F for ferries.
