2sDay: Wild Turkeys

posted in: 2sDay, Birds, Lens Friends | 2

I love a play on words. 2sDay (Tuesday) is the day I frequently share photos of 2 of the same thing – flowers, birds, critters, leaves etc. Today the photos are wild turkeys.

From our front window we can look across the road from and have fantastic views of the farm fields.

The wild turkeys are always strutting through the fields snacking on whatever they can find.

Here they are on top of the hay stacks checking out the surroundings.

The turkeys visit in all seasons, and depending on the time of year they have different colours.

The 2sDay photos today have been taken in different seasons, some present day and some from the photo archives.

    Hi Linda,
When I saw the wild turkeys brought back memories of the road I had to drive on going to work. I would sometimes have to stop and let them cross the road before I could go on my way. They usually took their own sweet time.
    Have a good day.

I have seen some while I have been a passenger going for a drive but not seen them strutting their stuff, quite pretty.
