Just about 10 minutes drive from our house is Grills Orchard … the place to get local apples, veggies, baking and gifts. Their bakery makes the best cookies around … big, chewy, delciious and full of calories.

The drive in the Fall is always very colourful.
The sign is easily seen from the road.
The fall weekend we went there was a huge display of pumpkins in the front field and the steps leading into the store were decorated beautifully.
Inside the store you can enjoy the smells of fresh apples and homemade baking. From homemade fudge, to jams and preserves, to homemade bread there is always something to tempt you. There is also a large variety of gift items to browse through made by local artisans and crafts people. If you are in my part of the world be sure to stop by for a visit.
