November was a milder month at the beginning than usual. There were frosty nights that cleared away quickly once the sun was up.

The wanna be grass got cut for the last time on those sunny afternoons.

November 15, 2021 saw the first pellet like snow that settled for an hour or two.

On November 28, 2021 the first snow came that actually settled on the ground. It snowed all day Sunday and provided some good photos taken through the windows.

November 29, 2021 was the first opportunity to clear the driveway. There wasn’t really enough to get the snow blower out and it was easily pushed away with the shovel.

There was a red sky (looked much brighter in person than the photo) to start November 30, 2021. What is that saying? Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning. Is Nature warning us the weather will get worse?

I’m sharing these views of the garden with Through my Garden Gate and Mosaic Monday.

These are lovely shots! I didn’t bother shovelling, except the the sidewalk. Wasn’t it wonderful when the sun came out!

The sun made it all so sparkly. I’m appreciating it now as I know after several weeks of snow it will no longer be wanted and I’ll be wishing it all gone. Have a great day.

Your garden looks beautiful after the snowfall, we had some too last Saturday but it didn’t last for long. x

Lovely Linda and you are right, I enjoy it at the beginning but become tired of it after the first of the year. Take care.

Nice photos, Linda.
We’ve also had a few light snowfalls, but nothing that stuck around…

Your garden looks so different covered in snow! Lovely to see your skies have been similar to ours! I have never heard about Red sky in the morning sailor take warning. We say red sky in the morning is shepherd’s warning , red sky at night is shepherd’s delight! Sarah x

Thanks so much for stopping by, Linda!! we have some snow predicted on Wednesday…We will see how much as they are saying a “plowable amount”..I tried to arrange some of my garden statues in the back yard to create vignettes when it snows…we will see if it works…Stay safe, healthy and happy!!

So glad to see you back at Mosaic Monday! We are wishing for MORE snow and cold temps in Montana! Lovely photos of the snow in your garden!
Sorry for the delay in commenting – I made an emergency trip to Ohio to visit my brother in the hospital. I am on my way back now and my husband sent me a picture of snow at our house this morning – finally!
